Will you please refer to your letter of the 28th November, 1950, last and my reply of the 20th December about the Hong Kong Government's claim on the War Office in respect of requisitioned railway materials.

We should be grateful if you could let us know whether it has now been decided to accept the Colonial Government's claim to £105,000 plus £12,500.
